Nelson Wins Five 2010 Retailer’s Choice Awards


(Nashville, Tenn.) Thomas Nelson, Inc. was awarded five of Christian Retailing’s 2010 Retailer’s Choice Awards. The awards were announced on April 22 at The Gathering at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

“The Retailer’s Choice Awards are among the highest honors in the industry,” said Michael Hyatt, CEO of Thomas Nelson. “I appreciate that the awards are selected by Christian retailers, who work on the front lines and that the awards are judged on a product’s ability to inspire, encourage, and affirm Godly living. New Book Reveals How to Fix Cracks in Conservative Movement

Washington, D.C. – R. Emmett Tyrrell, the man who predicted the “conservative crack-up,” now offers the remedy to what ails the conservative movement in his new book, After the Hangover: The Conservatives’ Road to Recovery (Thomas Nelson, April 20th, 2010). Thomas Nelson Nominated for Eight Christian Book Awards

(Nashville, Tenn.) Thomas Nelson, Inc. announced today that eight of their products have been chosen to be finalists for the 2010 Christian Book Awards. The Christian Book Awards are presented annually, since 1978, to the highest quality in Christian publishing in six categories – Bibles, Bible Reference & Study, Christian Life, Fiction, Children & Youth, and Inspiration & Gift. The awards are selected by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) based on excellence in content, literary quality, design, and significance of contribution.

The winner in each category will be announced at the Christian Book Award Banquet in Nashville, Tennessee. The Christian Book Awards Dinner will begin on Monday, May 3, 2010, during the ECPA Executive Leadership Summit. In addition, one title will be selected from the finalist to receive the top honor, Christian Book of the Year. This award is based on editorial excellence and sales achievement.
