(Nashville, TN)—Platinum-selling country recording artist Sara Evans will publish her debut novel with Thomas Nelson later this year, having signed a four-book deal with the publisher.  The novel is the first in a series and will release in conjunction with a new album by Evans on RCA Records.  She is currently in the studio writing and recording and will perform at various tour dates throughout 2009.

Fans of Evans’ music will find much to enjoy in the inspirational fiction series.  She calls it an “emotional, Southern-flavored, multi-generational tale, featuring a compelling love story.”  Evans drew inspiration for the characters from her own family life and experiences growing up.

Evans’ debut novel is written with bestselling author Rachel Hauck, known for novels like Diva NashVegas and Love Starts with Elle.
